Carpet scrubbing involves our technician going over your carpet with a large, soft bristled brush on a rotating head prior to cleaning. This helps to bring pet hair and other solid dirt particles to the carpet surface where our technician is able to vacuum them up, removing as much solid dirt as possible prior to cleaning.
This process also helps to agitate cleaning products into the carpet and allows these products ample dwell time in order to do their job before the are rinsed out and removed with the steam clean. In doing this, your technician is able to achieve the most thorough clean possible without the interference of excess dirt – you may like to think of this as similar to rinsing your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher!

Our RotoVac is a heavy duty, specialist cleaning wand that incorporates a rotary head so it scrubs at the same time as it extracts and steam cleans.
This creates extra agitation and cleans in all directions, which helps to lift solid dirt particles and encourages carpet pile in matted areas to stand up.
We recommend RotoVac cleaning in instances where the carpet is very heavily soiled or for commercial sites with specialist Flotex carpet which requires heavy duty scrubbing for best results.
